The Book of Confessions, The Book of What????
The Book of Confessions(BoC) is the first part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) constitution.  It is a collection of confessions that were written over the past seventeen hundred years.  Each confession is based upon scripture and written as testaments of faith in response to specific historical events.  You are welcome to join us for a 6-week study of the BoC on Thursday mornings from 8:00 – 9:30 am at Church of the Hills. The first class is Thursday April 4 and it will likely run through May 9, 2019.  The church has numerous copies of the BoC that you can borrow.  The study guide – “Being Reformed: Exploring the Book of Confessions,” written by Steve Schusett and published by the PC USA – is $6.00.  If you are interested, please sign-up on the sign-up sheet in the narthex and we will order copies in volume.
