Church of the Hills is a Presbyterian (USA) congregation founded in 1953. The Presbyterian Church (USA) is governed by representative bodies at the church, local, regional and national levels.  In our life together, we seek to receive and reflect the gift of grace in our worship, prayer, spiritual growth, and mutual respect.
Members and friends of Church of the Hills strive to open their lives to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word and by reflecting the love and grace of God in their individual and congregational lives. They endeavor to value every person, recognizing that we are all gifted by God with very different perspectives, spiritual gifts, and passions for ministry. The goal is to encourage dialogue and friendship within our community of faith and to commit to working out differences as directly as possible in the context of mutual respect and Christian love.
VISION STATEMENT We are a vibrant family of faith rooted in God’s Word, gathering together to worship and to be equipped to share the love of Christ with the world.
MISSION STATEMENT We come together seeking the blessing of the Holy Spirit, to be grounded in God’s Word and equipped to go into the world. We do this through divine worship, administration of the sacraments, spiritual fellowship, service to others, and proclamation of the Word.
Reflecting the gifts of our Creator, we build upon our diversity; recognize that changes are fluid; encourage engagement; promote trust and synergy in all areas of ministry.
Bonding with others through and with Christ; our bond is evident in our actions and attitudes, always inviting others into the relationships and reflecting the love for others as modeled by Christ.
Extending to others through a reciprocal relationship; we are called to make a difference, using our time, talent, and resources to empower and engage all to bring God’s justice, hope, love and grace to our world.
Spiritual Growth
Nourishing our relationship with a caring God, we ask questions remaining open to the responses and accepting the mystery.  This continual and holistic journey enables us to grow, mature, and develop as disciples of Jesus.
Giving thanks and glory to God; we experience and celebrate and strengthen our faith as it transforms every aspect of our lives.
God comes to us in free and undeserved favor in the person of Jesus Christ who lived, died, and rose for us that we might belong to God and serve Christ in the world. Following Jesus, Presbyterians are engaged in the world and in seeking thoughtful solutions to the challenges of our time.

Presbyterians affirm that God comes to us with grace and love in the person of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose for us so that we might have eternal and abundant life in him. As Christ’s disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers. God sends the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, giving us the energy, intelligence, imagination, and love to be Christ’s faithful disciples in the world.

Almost two million people call the Presbyterian Church (USA) their spiritual home. Worshiping in 10,000+ Presbyterian congregations throughout the United States, they engage the communities in which they live and serve with God’s love.
