Nickname: Actually my nickname is Dee. My real name is D'Ann, but the apostrophe causes many to mispronounce my name, thus why I go by Dee.
Nicknames: I once told a friend in college that my real names was Terrific but that I was so modest that I shortened it to Terry. Of course, the story wasn't true, but he did call me "Terrific" for the next 3 years
